RME Audio HDSP9652 Digital Recording Interface. The prior owner also had done the same. Be sure that your computer has a PCI slot to accommodate this card, else if you install it into a newer PCI-e slot, you will have to use the plate-hack to get it to fit not pretty but will work invisibly through the Startech converter.
No drivers are needed for the Startech converter. The bracket Im holding (from the 2 included ones) is the one that I used to install into my 64-bit PC.
I had to make a small notch in the PC case (as shown the photos) & then it fit snug even when plugging/unplugging Toslink cables. This card is 64-bit Windows compatible. The prior version of this card was the DIGI 9652 which I also own & has been working troublefree in my old 4-core Win7x32bit PC for 13 years straight! But that one doesnt have a 64-bit driver available sadly. The RME HDSP 9652 fortunately does!
